The Interview

What are your best memories related to wine?

One of my best memories related to wine takes me back to a gorgeous summer day by Lake Como. After driving for several hours, the anticipation built as I approached the stunning landscape. The sun was setting, casting a golden hue over the water, and the mountains provided a breathtaking backdrop.

I arrived at a charming vineyard perched on the hillside, known for its exquisite local wines. The air was filled with the sweet aroma of grapes and blooming flowers. As I stepped out of my car, I was greeted with warm smiles from the staff, who guided me to a rustic terrace overlooking the lake.

We began the evening with a tasting of their finest vintages, each sip revealing the unique flavors of the region. I remember the laughter shared with friends, the clinking of glasses, and the stories exchanged while savoring a delightful red that perfectly complemented a platter of local cheeses.

As the sun dipped below the horizon, painting the sky in shades of pink and orange, I felt a profound sense of peace and happiness. It was a moment where time seemed to stand still, and the beauty of the surroundings, paired with the joy of fine wine and great company, created a memory I cherish dearly. That evening by Lake Como remains one of my most treasured experiences, capturing the essence of joy, connection, and the magic of wine.

As businesswoman and mother what’s the best advices you can share?

As a businesswoman, one of the best pieces of advice I can share is to cultivate self-confidence while recognizing the value of seeking guidance from those with more experience. Building self-confidence is crucial—believe in your abilities and the unique perspective you bring to the table. This mindset will empower you to take risks, voice your ideas, and navigate challenges with resilience.

However, it’s equally important to acknowledge that no one has all the answers. Don’t hesitate to reach out to senior colleagues or mentors for their expertise. Their insights can provide invaluable guidance and help you avoid common pitfalls. Approach these conversations with curiosity and openness; asking for advice not only demonstrates humility but also fosters connections and shows that you value their experience.

Combining self-confidence with a willingness to learn from others creates a strong foundation for success. Trust in yourself but remember that collaboration and mentorship can amplify your growth and lead to even greater achievements.
